About 709

Bar 709 is a cozy getaway for regulars and a delightful find for newcomers. Set in Yongli Plaza, across from the northwest corner of the Workers Stadium grounds, it features bar and lounge seating and is a place to escape the stress of the city.

George Zhou has been a mainstay on the cocktail scene since 2004, initially at First Cafe and most recently as owner of Q Bar. He serves both classics and house specialties. Grab a seat at the bar or relax on a sofa, and enjoy a drink or two.

George Zhou has served quality classic cocktails for over a decade. From classics like martinis, Manhattans, Moscow Mule and margaritas to something unique for a given palate, well-made drinks are the rule. Along with a smart selection of spirits, including whiskeys.

709 offers two floors on which to relax, with bar and table seating downstairs, and a lounge area up top that is handy for private gatherings. Whether you are dropping in for a drink or want to hide away with a half-dozen friends, Bar 709 can serve your needs.

Bar 709 is right in the heart of the Sanlitun-Gongti bar and restaurant area but secluded enough to be an enticing getaway. Enter from the southeast lobby of Yongli Plaza (close to Pizza Hut), take an elevator to the seventh floor, and enjoy an evening at 709.
